I am very fond of gift wrapping. Pretty sure, you’ve noticed that already. Another thing I’m fond of is up-cycling old or scrap materials into something else.
Now, I recently did a calligraphy on envelopes and I had few envelopes that were misspelled or the ink scattered. Thought, I’d use some part of it into something else like gift tags. Perfect pair for my gift wrapping ideas.
Here’s a video tutorial using two different pens like dip pen and water brush.
Materials you’ll need for the upcycled gift tag:
Scrap or old envelope or cardstock
Scissors, White Pencil, Puncher, Twine
Dip Pen, Water Brush
Gold Ink
Simple as that. You can put this right away on a paper bag or any boxes. Wrap it with a twine or a big ribbon and you just added a handmade touch to it.
How did you wrap your gifts or write your gift tags this holiday? Would love to see your ideas too.
Happy Holidays, friends.
