I know some of you have been seeing a lot about calligraphy on your feed. Either from the people you follow for inspiration or from your friends.

I’ve been asked a lot about a workshop for this, but I was a bit hesitant because I’m not sure if I’ll be able to translate what I’ve learned into words. Although, I couldn’t say no when I was invited to GenSan  for a Modern Calligraphy workshop.

Dip pen is not quite my “go to” tool when it comes to writing or drawing (yes, you can use it for drawing too). But true indeed, this pen has a different charm. An elegant kind. So, I’ve learned to love this and now I have my preferred nibs and holder that best suits me. So I’ve thought, I’d finally hold a workshop.

Here’s the details of the Basic Modern Calligraphy Workshop. I’ll be teaching the strokes from drills to the letters. Then we try to apply them on different projects. I’d share the differences of the materials as well.
