I’ve made some few logos before but I never really had a formal training about it. I had short courses about Illustrator, photoshop and even photography, but not graphic design to be exact. Gladly, Cube Pixels finally conducted a one-day workshop on how to design a logo.
At first, I really had second thoughts if I should still pursue on learning, thinking I wasn’t into logos anymore. But then, the thirst for learning immerge and I’m just so glad I did. The speaker {slash} company owner {slash} one of the great logo makers in Davao {slash} also a friend of mine was Ray Rubio. If you’re into graphic design, logo, advertising thing, I’m sure you’ve heard of him.
I always envy designers who have a background in graphic design. Although, I thought, they just added creative meanings to their logos like, round to symbolized infinity, red to attract and etc. {sorry those were not so creative lines, haha}. But then, I truly understand better now. All thanks to the logo master, Ray. {Hello if you’re reading this}.
We had an activity of course to apply what we’ve learned. And I’m so embarrassed to share what I came up with. For future clients, this was not my best design, haha. Since I don’t have much photos I have to share this.
Now we were all smiling after the awesome learning. Can you imagine we were only 2 girls. I was really amazed with my classmates work during the activity. They were so creative.
