I remember the days when I used to put bookplates for my textbooks and even notebooks. That’s actually where I started my very amateur graphic design by using Paint {I used the older and simpler version}. Then I started my custom-made sticker business with college friends. Oh those where the days of clipart, haha.

When I heard a client wanted to order a custom-made bookplate, I was delighted to know some people still love the idea of it. This time, I can’t use clipart anymore so I have to draw instead.

It’s hard for me to draw characters because I was not really trained for that, but I take this things as a challenge and a practice as well. The proper bookplate though has a line that says: This book belongs to. But to be practical a name would be okay so you can put it anywhere aside from books.
