It’s time to think of a new christmas tree theme for this holiday season. It doesn’t need to be extravagant nor expensive but a new good look can surely bring a different feel to your home.
Normally, we use big trees to decorate our houses. However, if you’re living in a small space, a big tree may not be appropriate. But it doesn’t mean you can’t have one. Since I own a small studio and a cafe, I’ve thought of having a tree as well to give my clients a warmth environment of the christmas season.
This video tutorial from Lindye Galloway {a beautiful and energetic event planner} of Suddenly Inspired gave me an idea on how to make a christmas tree without spending a lot and using only home materials like chicken wire, yarn and coffee filter. Definitely perfect for a small space or shops.
Of course, the DIY wouldn’t be complete without a paper craft version. I found a cute and simple christmas tree tutorial and a downloadable template that is made out of paper from A Few of My Favorite Things via Poca Cosa. The is great for a table center piece or on any small corners.

I have not yet tried both of the tutorials because of the early Christmas bazaar for this weekend but I’m hoping I can share how I did my version the moment I get a free time next week. But enjoy this DIY christmas trees.
The paper xmas tree is just soooo charming!! Thank you for sharing.
