Hello loves. Lately, I’m trying to get my groove back. I’m quite tired and uneasy for the past few days. I’m not sure if it’s a girl thing (you know, women’s cycle) or I’m just simply tired, lol.
Anyway, I’m preparing a workshop for CBTL‘s Annual Back to School Project. It’s such an honour to teach young students to make a DIY notebook. I’ve been posting snippets of this on my instagram story @iam_artisan, in case you want to see what I’ve been preparing.
I am so excited for this collaboration with CBTL. For one, I’ll be teaching kids. Another thing, I just love that CBTL is doing an outreach projects.
The kids will be so happy about this because there are many activities prepared for them. First, library painting. This is quite exciting. Every school should have one. Books can really teach the kids so many things. Up until now, I still rely on books as my reference.
Second, backpack painting with Jansport. The kids will get to design they own backpack, oh wait, did I say, Jansport backpack? Yup! And they’ll get to bring it with them. How cool is this?
Lastly, DIY notebook making. This is my part. Where I’ll be teaching them to stitch and decorate their own notebooks. I’ve been doing stationery design for years and it’s so much rewarding to teach kids how to do it. With simple materials and a little bit of decorating, viola! You’ll have your own notebook.
Now, they still need 35 volunteers who can take part in the 3 activities. For P500, you’ll get to be part of this. If you’re interested, you can email [email protected] so they can send you details.
