Busy like a bee…

Artisan Life Happenings

Seriously, it’s already February? I haven’t felt January yet. Although, I did feel it in a form of Sinulog, workshops and a little beach on the side {Definitely what I love about Davao. Well in the Philippines actually. It’s always summer}, meeting with clients and hanging out with friends. January is indeed the busiest month for everyone. And since I decided to make this year a busy one in terms of creativity and business, then I guess, I’m on the right track.

Here’s a little view of what’s happening with me and in the studio recently…

I have an upcoming workshop for Havaianas Davao, called Obrigada. I’ll be teaching a Brush Lettering on tote bags for the invited guests. I am helping out with the decorations and thought these buntings would give a little nice detail as I add watercolour with it too.

Then since Valentine’s Day is just a week away, I’m also preparing these paper flowers in the shop. I’m also thinking of having Paper Flower Workshop on February 13. Will finalise this evening and let you know…

Just last week, I submitted a commissioned drawing for a homegrown chocolatier here in Davao. It’s for Kai Chocolates, I’m really a fan of her chocolates and I feel so honoured when they asked me to collaborate with them. So I did some draft on my sketchbook for the packaging.

And right about now, we are printing and assembling workshop boxes for Obrigada and my other workshops.

So yeah… busy like a bee indeed. How about you? How’s your weekend so far?
