Back when I was still doing custom printing, I was always present whenever there’s a print expo. Then few years back, there was an expo here in Davao called Print and Label Philippines and shared the Manila printer suppliers and Davao printer suppliers. If you find papers and printers something that makes you giddy like me, then this expo will surely make you feel like a kid in a “printer/paper Disneyland”.

Now, I remember one exhibitor, Prestige Paper Products that had the most beautiful varieties of paper I’ve ever seen. When you go to these kinds of expo, expect you’ll have a bag full of paper samplers to take home with you. When I got home, I literally, looked, touched and smelled every paper in that bag for an hour.

I am crazy over matte, textured and heavy papers. When I saw this Tintoretto Neve in 350gsm, my goodness! It was like shoes or bags for some girls and sneakers for some guys. This paper was like a Prada bag for me.

Anyway, Prestige Paper Products carries the Fedrigoni brand and they are generous enough to send these Pulp magazines. 

When I first saw it, I was giggling and drooling over it. 

As a graphic designer, Pulp magazines can be one good source of inspiration.

Although these magazines are in italian, some have translations though. But if you’re into graphics then most likely you’re a visual person and you like seeing photos than words.
