Hi friends… I’m having a paper flower workshop this weekend. If you’re into flowers or maybe you want to know new craft, I would love to have you on board.
August 9, 2014 {Saturday}; 1-5p.m. at Yellow Hauz. You can register here.
It’s pretty crazy in my room for almost a week now… it’s filled with crepe and tissue cut-outs. Papers with my attempt to calligraphy all over the desk.I’m working on my bed with my planner and notebook scattered, but of course, I have to use a cute pen. Alessa thought, I was more of a visual kind of person because she noticed I have to surround myself with pretty things, haha. Well, she figured out I rely more on feelings than visual, but I agree with the pretty things.
And yes, I’m also sugar loading… thank you boyfriend for my pasalubong from your last trip. I’m afraid I can’t share it with you anymore. But it’s comforting me at this point of my life, haha.
I was doing a calligraphy for my handouts the other night… oh please be kind! I’m still practicing and I still have a lot of things to learn. So please don’t judge.I turned it into digital. Some strokes became lighter that its hardly seen. So next time, I need to make it thicker. It looked nice on paper though but computer won’t see it.Anyway, I have more things to do. I have a deadline that needs to be done. But, I’ll do it tomorrow. Seriously, my mind is almost empty now. Sorry client if you’re reading this, peace, hehe.
Also tomorrow, I have to make a new recipe for Yellow Hauz. Davao is celebrating Kadayawan this month so I’m thinking of a Durian flavour frappe.
Goodnight for now… I’ll see you on Saturday though… it will be fun!
Hello! I was wondering what kind of “pen” or material/s you used for the calligraphy writing? I’ve been thinking of getting it but I don’t know what it’s called, and where did you buy yours? (I found the inks in Morning Light but the materials aren’t available there) I do hope you’ll reply! 🙂
