If there’s one thing I love about Davao it’s gonna be how accessible the places are. You can just go to the beach anytime you like. Have breakfast and go back home by lunch. That’s what my boyfriend and I did today. We thought of spending the morning on the beach.
We went to Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort. It’s just a 30-minute drive from downtown and less than 10-minute boat ride. See how very accessible and convenient?
Anyway, we had breakfast then Miguel went for a swim, while I was sleeping. After our “me” time moments, I did a little crafting and tried my “not so new tool” (since I already bought it few months ago and I just started using it) – Speedball Lino Cutters from Aya.
There were two little girls beside our table, maybe they got a little curious with what I was doing that they came close to me. Made me want to craft with them, hehe. Anyway, while I was busy carving rubber blocks…Someone was busy pretending to be asleep… (such an actor! tsk!)
I’m still not used with the speedball in carving rubber blocks since I’ve been using the wooden cutters before (the one on the table). But I think I want to make use of this new tool. Hopefully, I’ll find time in between my deadlines, workshops, attempt to watercolor and embroidery. My goodness! So many things to do, so little time…
How was your Friday? Oh by the way, I have a workshop for kids tomorrow at Yellow Hauz; 1:00 p.m. We will be making hotair balloon mobile crafts. If you’re interested do shoot me an email by morning so I can prepare your kid’s kit. See you…
