I feel privilege to host a craft session for my friends, Ena and Kuy-kuy to help them raise funds for their breastfeeding advocacy. They invited Dr. Jack Newman here in Davao, a canadian physician who specializes in breastfeeding to conduct an awareness and benefits of doing so.

Now, I’m not a mom yet, but I know that this advocacy can greatly help moms and their babies in so many ways. That’s why this craft workshop is quite unique because it doesn’t only enhance mom’s creativity but it also has a bigger purpose.

We will be making a Scrapbook in a Frame. I’ll be teaching you to create a wall frame using an alternate material and inside we will be adding your photos like a scrapbook style. I’ll share some techniques on how to make some 3D pop-ups and paper flower.

The workshop will be on April 5, 2014, Saturday, 1:00-4:00p.m. at Yellow Hauz. It includes a kit, materials and snacks. You’ll need to bring any size of your favourite photo/s for the project you’ll be making.
